Looks like Saskatoons main yard engine got some fresh paint in the cab area. Normally he operates exclusively in the main yard, which is largely inaccessible (recall
http://tinyurl.com/69r8jh) however today he went out to lift some hoppers at the nearby elevator. Interestingly its located on CPs Wilkie sub, which one can see in the background. Ive seen CN bring in unit grain trains, usually with ES44DC road power, hence a yard slug set a welcome sight.
PS. Note the MLW slug trailing, used alongside a GP9 to switch an elevator in 2008. Who would have guessed decades ago that a Class I Railway would still be operating them today.
