VIRX 7059

This unit started its life as a GP9 in 1955, originally CN 2021, re-numbered 4472 in 1956, then re-build to GP9RM in 1992, becoming CN 7059. This year after 57 years on CN he was retired and sold to VIRX. Unless he's going to a shortline, chances are that this is the last time he's seeing CN, maybe even Canadian rails. Either way he's a stranger, since we don't get the 7000 series GP9RM's for some reason.
Note the odd patch job, by repainting CN with red and black respectively, the letters blend in, however you can still see them, hence defeating the purpose of the patch job. Either way this is clearly a CN unit. When I first saw it I thought it was a yard unit transfer, with graffiti on the side.

Any information on its disposition would be appreciated.
She's going to Vancouver Island, a preservation society in Victoria, BC bought her.

It will remain a Canadian Locomotive. For now, unit will remain in CN Colors, until a final decision on paint scheme.
