JR series 000, Sanyo shinkansen

This EMU is JR series 000 type 3, manufactured since 1964 and remodeled since 2002, top operational speed is 220Km/H (137mph). JR West operates Super express West HIKARI and West KODAMA in JR Sanyo shinkansen line bound for Hakata from Shin-osaka.

Sure, JNR (Japan National Railways) built series 000 (=series 0) since 1964 to 1986 for Tokaido shinkansen and Sanyo shinkansen, the number of built was 3216 as 201 EMU (16cars / EMU).
