Kurofune, USS Susquehanna in 1853

This EMU is IZUKYU series 2100 "Resort 21", colour scheme is extra "Kurofune". "Kurofune" means black ships in Japan.

In 1853, the fleet of U.S.Navy calls at a port of Uraga as a ceremonial visit. The flagship is USS Susquehanna, it's a black ship. Admiral Matthew Calbraith Perry establish relations with Japan in 1854.
