Brand new ES44DC leads CN 865 into Saskatoon.
Two 4400hp engines have become the standard for CN grain trains. The CTRW grainer right before him utilizes CN's rejects, a pair of GP10's and a newly aquired GP40-2LW, tradional CN grain train power, from only a couple years ago (remember the light weight 4100 GP9RM class rusting @ Homewood, IL)...

It shouldn't be long before CN gets their act together and DPU's all their grainers.

5:16pm CN 865 (12:30pm ordered @ Humboldt)
CN 2307-2596, 104 hoppers - took 6 minutes to clear
Ok was up by Watson, Sk this weekend and was wondering do any trains and how many? run from Saskatoon up to Canora, Sk and if so do any go onto The Pas? and what are there train numbers?

Just one train. CN 854/5 from Canora to Humboldt, SK

Cal, there's very much traffic on the CP Melfort spur! CP N49 couple GP38-2s out of Saskatoon run regularly, usually a couple times per week. CN/BNSF, that would be CN 586 - he gets his cars off CN 864 which departs Saskatoon, himself getting cars off of 802/806/834/8xx out of Vancouver that terminates in town with the crew being taxid back to Biggar, although sometiems they work Agpro.
