Brand new EMD product, along with a twin, lead 115 into town. "Brand new EMD" doesn't sound right after almost a decade of new GE power and half-dead SD40-2W's on the mainline. If only these engines could make a similar comeback on the CP...
A decade of GE's and half dead SD40-2W's? What about the SD70/75I's? They were the last GOOD EMD's. The SD70M-2's are junk compared to them.
I'm not arguing with you guys, the SD75I's are great units. Guaranteed to see one tackside on the CN mainline... The last ones were built in October of 1999, which was awhile ago. A lot of Dash 9-44CW's & ES44DC's have arrived since tnen. Some of use have given up hope on EMD returning alltogether.
