UP Sutherland

UP run-through power is somewhat common in Saskatoon, usually in the form of UP & CEFX SD90MACs, although I have seen a UP AC4400CW as well, reportedly tunnel motors and other oldies in the past as well. Up to four Union Pacific units at a time for US bound potash trains.

Normally I'd photograph the power laying over at Sutherland shops (top photo), but I did catch the 90s on an outbound potash drag.

CP 8564-UP 8298-CP 3088-CP 3020-CEFX 1045 with CP 9572-UP 8287 mid-train
Does that sign say road closed in front of the train makes it look like its heading off a dead end. Nice picture.
