Mainline Freight on the Peninsula

An especially lengthy South City Switcher puts on the appearance of a mainline freight as it roars up the Caltrain mainline at Bayshore at 50 mph with 5 engines and 30 cars.
Nice! Almost looks like the same consist I photo'ed today from Jarrold St. Ever see anywhere local with box cars?

Well, then we must've seen the same train, because this the the only freight train that runs up in these parts. I did see another photographer out today that might've been you - if you're an older gentleman who wears a tan colored jacket and fishing hat =).

On March 6 I took some picks of the SSF Switcher from Jerrold St. in The City. I coulda had on my tan jacket and my tan "Beagle" hat... but I'm not that old.
