EARY Switching Job getting ready to work some lime plants in Sylacauga, Al.
How do the locals like the "Yankee" locomotives? Any engineers named "Sherman" on the roster?

I really didn't ask them, but I did make a comment to the engineer that I thought that was a pretty locomotive & he gave me back a wise crack saying yeah, pretty old. What I meant was the paint scheme being pretty. I should've clarified that to him, but he started backing up kicking cars, so I snapped off 1 more shot & left. I know I would like these GP40'S. I like running anything EMD'S much better than GE. It's really nice to be able to film NECR here in the southeast, which is one of my favorite paint schemes. I still want to make a trip to the NECR in the northeast & film more of their units on their own railroad, but at least for now I've been able to film the 2 NECR GP40'S that are running on the EARY.
