SF BAY AREA

Here is the result of some afternoon railfanning along San Pablo Bay in Rodeo, CA. This is Lone Tree Point, an East Bay Regional Park. It's a safe and interesting place to view trains.

As always, feedback and comments are welcome.

Enjoy!

Ah yes! Thanks Bill. I've been spending time around other local railfans who've given me more insight to the symbols of the trains in the Bay Area. So I figured a nice logo and symbol would be appropriate.

Sure hope nothing falls off the train or there is a piece banding strap hanging down. The railroad doesn't even let crew be that close to a moving train. Doesn't seem to bother the fishermen though. They don't move when the train comes by. Great videos!!

YIKES! I've seen the metal bands on centerbeam flats or tie-down chains often dragging along the ballast. I ALWAYS stay AT LEAST 15ft away from the tracks!!
