I realized a while back I never get in front of the camera for my railfan outings. Here's a decent video showcasing an entire day along the BNSF's Stockton Sub and Union Pacific's Fresno/Tracy subs in and around the Escalon and Lathrop/Manteca areas.

On a beautiful clear day in Santa Ana Canyon, Santa Fe F45 #5987 heads it COFC/TOFC train eastbound at the east end of Prado Dam siding on the 3rd Subdivision in 1985.

A rare SD70ACe led coal train heads west at 6:54PM on 9/28/08 definately the best catch so far this fall. A thing to note even though rare this is just proof that it is possible to catch a Heritage Unit on a coal train!

Finally I get to go railfanning there was a BNSF/NS led train behind this that I was waiting for but it didn't come till 12:48AM this was taken at about 8:58 just 2 minutes before curfuew Leading was UP 5936.
