Former Canadian Northern 4-6-0, 1913 MLW product is displayed next to the old mainline, off CN roster since 1960. Interestingly he always kept the same #, 1158 was later a GMD1 another Prairie classic no longer on the rails.
CNs first mainline diesel, only 60 years young. Retired in 1971, hes the only remaining CN F3 unit. Rebuild brother GTW 9013 (CN 9171 F3AU) is in a museum as well: http://tinyurl.com/55mvvg

Former CN 1339 & 1371, both retired in 2006, are temporarily resting on museum grounds. Last November they were shipped off to Progress Rail in Waycross, GA, I'm surprised they couldn't get a set of SW1200s more locally, off CSX perhaps.
Not sure why air hose is tied around 1371, perhaps...

Although the last Newfroundland train ran in 1988, they have not been forgotten. This is what a classic mixed train would look like, even if it is in Montreal. Since it's narrow gauge, the consist sits on a separate set of tracks, which have not been ballasted.
