  3. Logging operation?

    Logging operation?

The only RR industry left in my town. Trucks come in from the hinterland, then unload the wood onto the cars which then CBNS picks-up and gives to CN who in return pass them onto another shortline. The cars used in the operation are CN, WC, IC and NBSR. I have a short 10 second video of the...
  4. CBNS 2000

A typical neglected CN caboose, bought from a junk yard. All it has is a small patch that says CBNS 2000... Wonder when its going to get painted?

  9. Rusty hopper

    Rusty hopper

I thought I've seen a lot of junk at the scrap yard, but this one is still working! I think its still used in Revenue service, thus isn't even MOW! Judging by the freshly applied rpeorting marks (now visible well here), it and about a dozen hoppers just like it, will be rolling for a long time...
  10. Caboose in the rough

    Caboose in the rough

Bought by CBNS shortline from a scrap yard in 1997, this old rusty car is part of its 3 caboose fleet (all ex-CN). The other two have been painted, and look much more better though. Caught in their main yard coupled next to a flanger and a platform, all ex-CN as well.
  11. CBNS hi-rail

    CBNS hi-rail

First day railfanning new territtory and all I saw was a hi-rail... Parked by the MOW shed. All ex-CN. Note the bridge in the background.
