The former Eastern Idaho 2274 GP30 built in April 1962 as the Reading 5506. Later, to be renumbered the 3606 and ending up with Conrail as the 2174 before ending up with the Eastern Idaho Railroad.

Seen on the NS P Line (Central of Georgia) in Camp Hill, AL.

I got a few shots of this unit a few days ago sitting in NS'S Norris Yard Service Center. It was my 1st time getting a shot of an Eastern Idaho locomotive.
 
Geographically, yes. More SE if you will. Eastbound by NS directions. From Birmingham, AL to Columbus, GA.
