VIA Nanaimo (Gone)

A couple days ago VIA's Nanaimo station was burned to the ground. This is how I'll always remember it though.

Note the boarded up windows and the two station signs, VIA's blue and CP's original.
Thanks Russian i was wondering what it look like ,i seen the story of the fire on the forum side.

It hasn't burned to the ground, but has been extensively damaged. THe south end of the building which is where the VIA Rail waiting room and washrooms were has been completely gutted.

Sorry about that. Looking at the aftermath photos it looked pretty burned to me. Not much left either way sadly.

It's pretty sad. Though the Nanaimo Fire Chief said the building is still sound so there is at least some hope.
