UP 8557 East

After a meet UP 8557 East moves quickly out of the siding at Rock Island,Idaho along the Snake River heading toward Weiser. Oregon is on the opposite bank. 6-9-03
Thanks, this is the first time I've fanned this area it is a very neat area, I was surprised at the great number of trains. I'm not sure I would race to this spot again though, as the lousy gravel road in made me wonder a couple of times if I was going to be hauling my dashboard out in the back of my pickup.

I have shot a few in there. Looks like the water was up. I seem to end up there in the fall and river is always real low. Looks much better with it up!

There are worse roads! :)
