The natives are friendly!

GP40-2LW's CN 9606 and CN 9482 supply the 6000 horse power to lug a manifest of Grain hoppers, Tankers, and a few Highcubes westbound at Riverview.

Those Geeps looking good. Where's Riverview?

Thanks! Riverview is right at the edge of town at Difenbaker park. It has a nice set of serch lights and a bridge.

I've been there i saw a CN freight go through thats a good spot for night fanning i am goin to hit that up in the summer for sure. Nice job where was this train From like where did it build. Melville, Winnipeg or Yorkton

Im afraid I can't say, Cal. He didn't seem to long, and he was going pretty fast. He had alot of simalarities to the road local. My guess is Mellville or Watrous.

CalMurray, when are you coming in the summer? Maybe the three of us could railfan together? LOL.

most likely winnipeg and melville. CN runs very FEW trains through yorkton. Canora crews switch yorkton .... but there are very few trains that go right through yorkton. AND just for your info ... that first car is a potash car not a grain car ... i say that to maybe ease some confusion

Now that I've railfanned the line for a while and haven't seen a single GP40-2L(W) I got to ask... Where are they? I remember seing duos and trios just a couple years ago. Are most in storage/leassed out to shortlines or are there a couple still running? On the PNL maybe?
