Snoqualmie Valley

On 26 May 03. I,d snapped this shot of Puget Sound and Snoqualmie Valleys tourist train. This was their fifth run of the day and that Baldwin sounded real good. It is an old Army switcher that was formerly used in Yakima. It is now the regular power along with a sister unit. Baldwin fans should be able to tell what the model is. I dont

That is Ex-Army #4024, now Snoqualmie Valley Railroad #4024. SVRR also has a sister to #4024, also ex-Army, #4012. Both were started at Baldwin, but construction was completed by the Army as Baldwin shut down. 4024 and 4012 are B-L-H 1954 RS-4TC.
