Septa R7 commuter trains stop at Torresdale Station on the NEC.

Moody atmosphere. Glad your camera didn't freeze!

I was trying to shoot the guys shoveling but they stopped when the train came. As it was leaving a second approached and I took a shot focusing on the workers with both trains in the background.

These guys actually got nervous about me taking their photos but they relaxed after I explained what I was doing.

The two trains, one going, one coming, are nice, adds emphasis on movement and on being a busy locale. And the crew gives some scale and balance and a focus to the pic.

Above all is the falling snow. Most people are too timid, and wait till the snow stops falling. But the snowfall really adds another layer of movement.

I was lucky to catch two trains at the same location. Even on the busy NEC two trains in sight at the same time is not all that common.

BTW I think that was on Velvia and necessitated a slow shutter speed which caused the flakes to blur. That blur covered up any camera movement from my shivering.

LOL. Well whatever the reasoning, the blur looks good.
