Rio Grande 3097 and 3109 are westbound through Roubideau, CO with the Montrose Local in March 2002. This train was once a regular for Rio Grande 4 axle power alas neither 3097 nor 3109 or operating on this train.

An excellent photograph in beautiful low light, I presume this is evening and with these colours I would say you did not have the sun for much longer. These conditions are so rare, you get the light but where is the train, either 10 minutes to early or 2 minutes to late, complimented by a superb backdrop with the locos in the optimum position.

Cheers Steve.

P.S. This would be a classic photo with any kind of power.

One ofthe best shot I have seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!In along time Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
