Ice Train 2009

Still getting caught up from my weekend in Scranton, here are some images from Steamtown's annual Ice Harvest excursion train.

Morning temps below zero...midday in the teens. Four to six inches of snow. Blue skies and decorator clouds. It was PERFECT! My fourth Ice Train and the best one yet.

It's the morning of the excursion and the big Mikado is out of the house in time for the sunrise.
