I told you Green & Yellow wouldnt last...

said the one engine to the other....1-29-4 in Dennison, TX at the M-K-T station. Katy 401B sits rusting away in piece (or to pieces however you want to look at it) while DGNO (Dallas Garland Northeastern) lease power sits quietly nearby. Today's lease power is a sad mix of ex-UP/CNW/CSX. Green & Yellow just wasn't meant to be.
Man, the 401B in the background is look'n a little rusty..last time I saw her *1994* she was showing signs then of a little rust..it is sad..is it me or does it look like her nose is a little dented??

She's not a little rusted, she's a lot rusted. Needs some serious work and a covered awning if she is going to last. The front looks like that due to the large door that was put in by MKT back when it was in revenue service.
