Heading home with the World's Fair Daylight

The return trip to Portland, OR continues with the departure from LAUPT of SP #4449 and the World's Fair Daylight, running as Tr.#99, along the east bank of the Los Angeles River in 1984.
Y'all guys out West, believe it or not, but I remember that beautiful engine pulling the American Freedom Train through here in Alabama on the Norfolk Southern (Central of Georgia) P-Line in 1975 or '76. Painted up Red, White & Blue! Man, that son-of-a-gun is one beautiful engine!

Thanks stagmie for the rating and comments! I'm flattered that your reply to me was your first in two years.

Amazing photo! Great angle, cropping and sepia tone. I'd give it an 11 if I could

Thanks so very much p51. I appreciate the comments and rating on my favorite image from what was a most amazing day of railfanning.
