CSXT Southbound Freight Train Q545 rumbles through Birmingham, Al. ( South Alice )
Fortunately I've seen all three of these locos on a different consist in Ohio! The HLCX was behind a CSX AC4400CW when I saw it pulling a stack train. The DWP was with three locos: CSX SD70MAC CSX C40-8W (YN3) HLCX SD40M-3 east through Berea with a manifest. HLCX ex- MPI (Morrison Knudsen) was seen several times. So I guess I'm sort of lucky!

I would've preferred the DW&P 5911 in the lead in this consist, but instead it was the crappy looking former UP SD40-2 leading. I would've even took the former MPI/MKCX SD40-2 leading over the former UP SD40-2. Glad you got to see them as well in Ohio. Thanks for the rating

The only reason I like the ex-UP is because it's not a common lease unit. I saw it in Fostoria rounding the northeast wye on July 23, 2005. Caught it on film. To be truly honest about paint schemes, I'd take the dark future as tops. It's really pretty. Although the burgundy HLCXs are up there.
