Creak and groan

Creak and groan

I used to like working to Mudgee, except during winter time, when you had to fight with your mate for the handful of hot water bottles at the old barracks. Here you see venerable 4484 (DL500B) in red terror scheme about to tread cautiously over the old wooden trestle, tugging just a few empty wheat trucks. I hd jumped down and hoofed across the trestle and then waved my mate to bring the train across while I took the shot. It has been a very long time since I last ventured to Mudgee, this branch line was closed for many years after this shot was taken.

Aussie Alco.
Aussie, you've outdone yourself again...
