CP 8000 at its New Home

CPR 8000 is a Baldwin DRS 4-4-1000. Built in 1948 and retired in 1975. It spent most, if not all of its like working the E&N railway on Vancouver Island. The engine was donated in 2007 to the West Coast Railway Association in Squamish, BC. Now after now almost 3 years their about since it was donated it has finally arrived in Squamish to go on display for all to see. Hopefully brighter days are in store for this great diesel.
Someone finally posted her at the museum! Great catch. It was nice to see here in transition at New Westminster.
