Link Light Rail Yard - May 2008 Photo Contest

The Japanese built light rail cars sitting waiting with many moons to go before they make they're first revenue runs. Sound Transits Link Light Rail yard presents a forest of poles in lime green and black stripes, some even with pointy tops (what's up with that?). Seattle city lights provide the nice backdrop.
Nice shot. I looked at shooting this same subject in the day light, but it works so much better at night. Good work
 
Nice scene. The poles are part of the 1% for art program mandated by your friendly government. In this case, they look pretty cool.
