CN'S Yazoo Sub
CN Northbound Freight Train rumbles through Sidon, Ms.
The best bet is to railfan the old IC between Chicago & New Orleans , if you have the time & funds to do so & you will see plenty of the IC SD70'S. I can't wait to see one of the IC SD70'S repainted in CN colors. I think they will look sharp in CN paint.

Unfortunately I'm not going there anytime soon. As for wearing CN paint, they'd probably look like this: http://www.railroadforums.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=22835&cat=500&page=4
Thus joining about 400 Dash 9-44CW & SD75I/SD70I's.

Oh well, maybe you will make it there one day, if you want that is. Yes they would look exactly like that, only brand new paint, instead of badly faded like the one in this shot

Thanks C.S. Jackson, The CN ( Former IC ) Yazoo Sub is definitely worth a visit when your in the area. The Yazoo Sub is easy to follow on HWY'S 49, 49E, 3, & 61 from Jackson north to Memphis & just reverse from HWY 61, 3, 49E, & 49 from Memphis to Jackson. There are also some back roads that you can use to follow the line when the major highways get away from the line. One such road is called Money Road. If you don't have a Mississippi DeLorme Atlas & Gazetteer that would be highly recommended

That would not be a problem because I have a DeLorme's Mississippi Atlas and Gazetteer. I can find a road that is accesible to reach the Yazoo Sub.

BTW You gave me enough information about the Yazoo Sub that I started a new thread You can check it out at: http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?t=81823 Oh, I need some photo sources to back it up.
