BNSF'S East Thomas Yard

BNSF Work Train at East Thomas, Al. BNSF is doing some tie & rail replacing at East Thomas Yard & this is the work train that was on duty working with the track maintenance gang.
It's a good thing that BNSF is not like the UP in the repaint business. They'll let them wear the predecessor paint and number Just put BNSF on the cab

Thanks C.S. Jackson, I agree with you. I've always liked BNSF in that they don't take patching to an extreme like UP does. CSXT was the same as BNSF with their predecessors, all CSXT would do is put small CSXT letters on the side of the cab on Chessie System, L&N, Seaboard Coastline, Seaboard System, etc. & it was difficult to even tell it was patched.
