Previously Stelco 52, based out of Hamilton, ON until 1985. Dont let its 1950 build date fool you - this unit spots modern features such as a remote control (added 2001) & safety lamps/signs. He was parked on a dead-end track next to a crane (in matching paint), while an ex-CN Canac SW1200RS was closer to the action. Perhaps he is only used as back-up power?
In Saskatoon there was a SaskPower GE 80T similarly sitting around for years, while a TRACKMOBILE did all the work, he is in a museum now:
