Saturday morning, January 30, 2016 was cold and blustery. Northbound BNSF 7408, a manifest train, meets southbound BNSF 7041 at Carkeek Park, Seattle, WA.
In the distance, the yacht, Albatross, makes it's way south. This Italian designed yacht is available for charter for $85,000 per week.
Carkeek Park is a great place to railfan because of the pedestrian bridge over the tracks. Of course it attracts others, including a family of Japanese tourists that were very excited about today's trains.

Good video; thanks for sharing.

Some of those long BN trains seem underpowered.

I miss solid consists of SD40-2s; breaks my heart to see them relegated to hump yard power and yard goats!
