Just like CN, http://tinyurl.com/yue7c6, CP has their own cruiser fleet, that visually looks like the City police/RCMP/Park police and most other law enforcement forces. I've also seen a Police van at this event, the Holiday train stopover in Winnipeg.

A typical CN police cruiser, patrolling the mainline, as always giving a wave. From a distance it looks like your regular RCMP cruiser, in fact it only says "CN" on the small SD75I loco decal on the cab door.
The photo is now historic, since the switch in the background was removed...

The Turntable at Victoria. Just large enough handle the RDC's. It was originally built in 1913 as a "strong-arm" turntable, but after many complaints CP added a steam engine on one end. Today that engine is powered by compressed air from the compressor in the roundhouse or from the...
ENR GP38's 3809 and 3870 are seen here working the Victoria yard last summer. They brought 6148 back from Chemainus where it was stored after hitting a gravel truck in Ladysmith. They shoved the 6148 into the shops and headed north back to Nanaimo.
Check out the Canadian Crossbuck.
VIA RDC1 6133 sits in the E&N's Victoria yard with CP's Victoria shops in the background. The Shops in Victoria were not included in the sale/lease of the E&N to RailAmerica, although the trackage outside the shops was. With the Victoria shops now condemmed VIA has to pay RailAmerica to...
This is all that remains of the Victoria yard. The tracks that curve to the left of the picture are all that remain of the old 6 track freight yard. CP tore it out in 1986. Those tracks also lead to the downtown Victoria station.
Leaving Victoria, heading back to Nanaimo, with two ex-Rock Island grain hoppers. The conductor is riding the rear car so he can jump off and line the mainline switch back to the mainline for the RDC's.
VIA RDC-1 6133 has definately seen better days. She's been working on the E&N since 1981, and has for the last year been a parts source to keep 6135 and 6148 running. Rumor has it, 6133 will be scrapped.
The current end of steel in Victoria. Before 1992 these tracks ran down the street in the background to serve a few industries like Garden City Warehouse, Intercity Gas, and others.
