Left over from the days when the E&N handled LCL freight, this loading ramp sits in the weeds at Parksville on the out of service Port Alberni Subdivision.

This is one of 2 standing water towers on the E&N Railway, the other being in Port Alberni, BC used for the Alberni Pacific steam excursions.
The tower was located just south of the station but was moved to this location and restored when the MOW shops were expanded.
