A snapshot of the old CN S3 that roosts at the P&H elevator in Moose Jaw. It's flying green flags, but not heading a section of anything. I think thoes are Saskatchewan Roughrider flags, actually.
As you can see in the picture, its been a long time since the tracks ran anywhere. Not only is the ROW gone theres a new building in the way! I wonder if CN will ever bother taking it out The other side shows no sign of a ROW either, now a parking lot.

This spur ran off CN Rivers sub into the Fort Garry Industrial Park #1. At its peak it had at least four spurs and siding, serving a variety of warehouses in the area. When I started railfanning in 2003, it was down to one spur and a siding, both lacking traffic. Not surprisingly by Spring 2005...

At one time CN's Warman sub was a vital part of CN's system, providing the main link to Prince Albert. Although it still serves this purpose today, most of the line has been sold to a shortline, meaning its a lot less vital then it used to be.
Due to "strategic downtown...

It should be an oxymoron, a non-museum, operational CN unit wearing the fresh zebra paint sheme - yet here it is! Perhaps its CN's version of a heritage unit. A number of widecab Geeps have been getting their original paint touched up lately. You can clearly see the shine, when comparing to the...
A contracor takes away the ties of CN's Fort Garry Industrial Park #1 trackage. I haven't seen a train there ever since I started railfanning two years prior, so it's fair to say that not much has been lost. There weren't even any cars in the industrial park, not to mention 2/3's of the tracks...

This CN truck has the distinction of being the last piece of CN equipment on the former Fort Garry Industrial Park #2 trackage, since he's the wrecker. Although I've never seen any traffic or cars on the industrial tracks, at its peak (early 90s?) the 1 mile spur off of CN's mainline had 3 stub...

BNSF 3412 on the lead of the BNSF's 3rd La Mirada local coming back from retreiving empty box cars from a customer in Placentia on the Kimberly Industrial Lead.
After 50 years on the job, this old 2 axle GE is stil working for a living today.
Sadly, I doubt it will be long before it's retired and replaced by a TRACKMOBILE.
