A westbound stacker paused on the side of old US Highway 80 in Midland, Texas gets lit up by the golden rays of the setting sun. Union Pacific 7730 and 7737 are both ES44ACs (or C45ACCTEs as UP calls them).
This, while not a very good photo at all, depicts something interesting, so I'll post it despite it's quality. CP 3094 leads CP 8858 back into Moose Jaw. Apparently the GEVO was down in Assiniboia to celebrate the opening of a grain elevator.
Here is my grab shot of KCS 4705 in Tehachapi. I will say I thought these grab shots were going to be the only shots I would get of this train. I was thrilled when a friend of mine who lives near the tracks called me and told me that this train just went past.
