This Norfolk Southern Rock Train is seen passing by the MP365.3 on the former Central of Georgia Alabama Division main between Columbus, GA and Birmingham, AL. This location is on the West end of Alexander City, AL.
Despite the termination of CN SD40-2s, Hunter Harrison can't bring himself to repaint an IC SD40R. I suppose it does look kinda' neat, though. This train is preparing to take the siding.
What appears to be axels or freightcar bogies seem to be covered on this IC flatcar. They don't seem to covered very well, let alone tied to the car for that matter.
Alot of old friends came to visit me today. Here we see CN 5444, which I have crossed paths with atleast 3 times. Behind the SD50 is an Illinois Central SD40-2R 6058. They took CN 450 into the hole to wait for an Westbound coal train.

Central of Georgia train NS A41 gets under way as the crew begins pulling out of downtown Alexander City, AL after a meet with the Eastbound NS 334. Seen here is a classic high hood EMD GP38-2, still around and kicking after more than 30 years on the job!
Raritan Central B23-7 #3101 and GP10's 7563 and 7579 parked in the yard by the Railroad's offices. This shortline is responsible for switching the industries of the Raritan Center Industrial park in Edison, NJ.
Here you see a zoom shot of the NS 918 Rock Train on the NS P-Line (former Central of Georgia) through Alexander City, AL on Feb. 01, 2008. This train is heading West toward Birmingham, AL.
