I know I havent posted here in a very long time, however I ended up working as a locomotive Fireman on the Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad this last summer, so in a sense I lived the dream as it is, but I am asking for some help on behalf of a couple of coworkers Justin Kelsheimer and Brian...
Due to my upcoming college graduation in June, I need any and all information about Pittsburgh, PA railroad hotspots. Reason being is that I am attending graduation at The Art Institute Of Pittsburgh on the campus there.
What trains usually run through, symbols, times, what types?
Can I...
Hello everyone,
It has been quite a long time since I have been on here, so here is what has happened in the last few years.
I still live in Myrtle Beach, SC. Have for the last 4.5 years. I have been in school since September 2011, and now as of January 23rd, 2016, I am officially...
I shoot night shots, but it is also something I desperatly need to work on right now. I am not at the point to pull off something really eye pleasing right now, as I know I need to work on this aspect.
MTA was clearly in the wrong, as I have had this happen to me twice in Toledo, Ohio. Once was by 2 rookies with the Toledo Police Department and one private security guard. the one with the 2 rookies it was simple- either shut down the bridge or arrest everyone who uses it. Cant make one an...
Went to the Fort Wayne, Indiana Railroad Historical Society to finally see NKP 765 again. When I was there, the roller bearing project was ongoing, but I was there to see 765 again. 18 long years it took me to see and finally photograph her again. The last time was here in Lima, Ohio at the...

Here we see me with the Amtrak Capitol Limited in Toledo, Ohio Amtrak station. I know this was Taken a long time ago, but it is about the only worthy shot I have of me in action. I ttok this shot by propping my camera on a garabe can which I used as a tripod, then set the time delay feature...
NS 2752 and 2755 hustle a short TOFC around the curve just outside Millbury, Ohio. This one was entered into the November contest titled curves. It is also the thunbnail image for the contest at the main photo gallery menu. This is a very high honor not only for me, but for the website too.
This tells the story that every father should tell. I know this, as my father was the one that got me into railfanning. Awesome shot, and the sure fire winner of this contest-hands down.
Here we see what the fall colors look like trackside in Toledo, Ohio. there isntmuch, but with the Orange of the BNSF Gevo it helps the pic out. there is a touch of fall in this one, but i could not upload the one i wanted to upload.
