Western of Alabama Shops

THIS SHOT SHOWS THE SOUTH AND EAST SIDES OF THE PLAINER MILL AND IN THE BACKGROUND YOU CAN SEE THE COALING TOWER AND THE CREW QUARTERS. FOR MORE INFORMATION, VISIT http://www.oldalabamarails.org/

Taken on Tuesday, April 25, 2006. These are shots of the Western of Alabama (WofA) Shops, or what's left of it, in Montgomery, AL. The City of Montgomery has just about cleaned the whole grounds of the massive vegatation that has obscured the buildings for years. It's my understanding, unfortunatly, that they will be tearing down some or all of the buildings to make room for the areas "River Walk" region, a up-and-coming tourist destination.
