The tunnel 12 and 12 bis in the famous Serra do Mar in the town of Mendes, RJ Brazil. At right, the original tunnel built by former Dom Pedro II railroad ( EFDPII) openned in 1965. At left, the tunnel openned by former Central of Brazil railroad (EFCB) in 1913 when the company put dual tracks in the thst hill.
