Looking through a station window in Courtenay, RDC1 6135 is being readied for the return trip to Victoria in the Spring of 2001.

In recent years the 6135 has been used the most on the passenger trains, from December 15,1999 to April of 2000 it was the only operational RDC on the E&N. Because it's got a higher passenger capacity than the 6148 it's used on single car trains the most. The only time the 6148 is used on single car trains is if the 6135 and 6133 are out of service.
