Sky and Cloud Study - In an Auburn Light they Came from Out of the West

A BNSF intermodal stack train approaches the West end of the passenger platform located at Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton California. These clouds are unusual for early August in Southern California since the remnants of the Baja hurricanes normally don't arrive in our area until late August, and into September. However on this day, the spectacular display of clouds contrasts magnificently with the silhouette of the fan palm in the right hand corner of the frame and embodies all that is California - our attempt to live the Endless Summer.
