T

Sentinel, CP 268

Rob has safley slowed 268 for the 10MPH slow order. Green flags denote a slow order beginning/end while yellow flags denote an approach to a slow order.
Let me make a correction: that green flag is the END of the slow order for EASTBOUND trains and the START of the slow order for WESTBOUND trains.

According to my Crowsnest Sub TGBO sheet, there are two slow orders between Sentinel and Crowsnest:

BETWEEN MILE 96.4 AND 96.7- FORM V ACCOUNT RAIL CONDITION
BETWEEN MILE 100.8 AND MILE 100.3- FORM V ACCOUNT TIE CONDITION

In addition to the above reply,
This is a CROR Rule 43:
"Form V GBO slow track protection will be marked in the field by a green signal in each direction, immediately beyond the defect, to the right of the track as seen from the approaching movement." In otherwords, the engr should be setting the counter right now to let him know when the tail end of the train passes this point - clear of the slow.

Otherwise nice catch with a stunning backdrop!
