Now off of the flatcar and onto Kentucky rails, RJ Corman's QJ #7040 is one step closer to steaming along the Old Road.
That loco looks awfully big to pull a excursion/tourist train. What's it going to be used for? Just curious.

Good question...there has been a lot of speculation about that here in the Bluegrass. It will probably be used for VIP/charter trips such as KY Derby Specials and the like.

The QJ's in Iowa put on quite a show, but their electonic whistle gets old quickly. Thankfully they also had steam whistles in addition to the electronic BRAAAP!
