After a long carrier on MP, UP, CP, GATX, LLPX and NRE lease fleets; NREX 4406, ex-CP 5430 came back to Sutherland after leaving CP in 1999.

This is one of the original rent-a-wreck CP lessors from the mid-90s. If you look hard enough, you can see where the CP patch job used to be.

Hard to believe that this unit left Union Pacific in 1990, yet still wears their paint after 4 different owners. No wonder the long hood looks torn - result of multiple patching. LLPX yellow patched and a modern safety stripes add to the old-school UP look.
