Northbound at McCredie Springs

This is a true grab-shot. While "chasing" the UP 5099 North - which may have been the only northbound freight of the day - I was looking for a new photo angle at McCredie Springs. Working my up the adjacent access road, the train appeared much sooner than I expected. This was shot through a "hole" in the trees, and came out quite nice for shot I thought I missed completely.

Very interesting shot. I like the woodsy atmosphere it portrays.

This "grab-shot" really worked well for you. The curved track in the foreground leads you right to the subject. Good work.....
