Montana Rail Link Helpers

Here is a going away shot of MRL helpers on Bozeman hill late last summer with Forest Fires a plenty in 'Big Sky' country. They were pushing up a 'heavy' grain train. I think this personally addes to the photo..
I was down there just 2 days before this picture was taken! Our original plan was to go & camp down in the Paradise Valley for the weekend, but it was sooo smokey down there that we decided against it (One of the fires, the Derby Mtn. fire was over 200,000 acres in size, but that was just one of many fires), so we decided to stop at the Livingston Rail Museum & then head over the pass in hope that it would be less smokey on the Bozeman side, but it wasn't, so we just went home. BTW, you mean "Big Smoke" country, not Big Sky Country, right? :p
