Koppel #2 in Japan

This steam locomotive is Koppel #2 in SEIBU Yamaguchi line. Koppel #2 manufactured in 1911 and operated in KUBIKI railway untill May 1st 1971.

In 1972 JNR (Japan National Railways) had 100 anniversary, so JNR Nagano factory revived Koppel #2 for SEIBU.

Currently, SEIBU operates Yamaguchi line by new transporter with rubber tyre.
