B&M van 482 brings up the rear of eastbound B&M train NWLA and N&W van 518523 is at the rear of westbound LAPY as they pass on the big curve at Montague, MA. on Aug. 10, 1983.
If you were familiar enough with the B&M's ops, you knew it wasn't that difficult to get shots similar to this, or with headends passing rears, at this location. N&W and D&H cabooses were fairly regular visitors to the B&M at this point in time. And, yes, both trains are moving.
You get bonus points for coordinating two different railroads to cooperate for your photo.
