UP 5892 Westbound out of the Cascade Tunnel bound down the hill for Puget Sound
It's a BNSF train.
As short of power as UP is,don't think they were leased units.Probably paying back miles or hours.
 
I once caught a UP detour train at Scenic after a trestle burned on the line between Seattle and Portland. Don't remember what year that was.
 
Pretty neat seeing UP power pulling out of the tunnel. You don't see that everyday, and hopefully it's not the future of BNSF : )
 
It's okay.. I would rather see Heritage 2 or H3 than the 'yellow plauge' come out of that tunnel, though.. :-{ Still, it is nice to see some different power when it comes to what you "think" is the norm for Stevens... :D :D
