Highballing Through Highland

BNSF 506 leads the Longmont Local over
the north switch at Highland, CO.

This was kind of a test shot, using a
cheapie Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 zoom
that I picked up at a pawn shop for $60. I
also attached my Tamron SP AF 1.4x
teleconverter for a total of 420mm. The
Tamron zoom surprised the heck out of
me, being almost as sharp as my Canon
70-200 f/4 L! Of course the build quality
isn't nearly as good as the Canon, but it's
not a bad buy for about $140 brand new!
